From Setup to Color Correction: Working on a Documentary Project in Sicily

In the spring of 2024, I had the opportunity to work on a documentary project filmed across various locations in Sicily. My role encompassed all technical aspects of the production, including setting up lighting, recording sound, and operating two cameras.
The project involved filming over twenty interviews in diverse settings: a series of indoor interviews, a series filmed outdoors, and several conducted on location with a dynamic two-camera setup. Each setup required precise coordination and efficiency, as I often had just 15 to 30 minutes to prepare the equipment before filming began.
The footage was captured in the LOG color profile, which required meticulous color correction to achieve a cinematic aesthetic.
Although the project is still in progress, I am pleased to share excerpts from the interviews that showcase my technical expertise in lighting, sound, and video production. These clips represent a blend of professional quality and adaptability across various filming conditions.
